If you are still using Windows Vista, we would strongly advise you to upgrade your software to a more recent Windows version, prior to the end of support date on 11th April. However, if you do have to continue using Windows Vista, make sure you have the latest available update or service pack, in this case – Service Pack 2, installed before the extended support expires.
It is important to note that you will no longer receive support from Microsoft which would help protect your computer and data from cyber threats, including viruses and malicious software which could encrypt or steal your personal information.
By using out of date operating systems, you become an easy target for cyber criminals who are able to exploit the systems vulnerabilities once Microsoft stops supporting them.
